Dylan Sherrill threw for two touchdowns and ran in another as the CAC junior high defeated White Hall 28-6 on Mustang Mountain. Spencer Hanvey opened the scoring with a 3 yard run in the first quarter on the Mustangs opening possession of the night. Later in the same frame Sherrill passed to Josh Holland from 4 yards out and then found Holland again for the two point conversion to make it 14-0. In the second quarter, Sherrill followed center Joey Pinney into the endzone from the two yard line and added the extra point to make it 21-0 at the half. The Bulldogs got on the board in the second to cut the lead to 21-6 but the Mustangs answered back as Sherrill hit Chase Dowell for an 18 yard touchdown. Sherrill tacked on the extra point to finish it up at 28-6. The Mustang defense allowed only 5 first downs and did not allow a single pass completion on the night. The Mustangs travel to North Pulaski Tuesday to open River City Conference - North Division play.
